The Top 10 Dishes and Recipes I’ll Never Make

There are just some dishes that I know I’ll never attempt making. For example, too much can go wrong while making lasagna. Just a couple of weeks ago, I tried making those delicious peanut butter cookies with the chocolate kisses in the center.

I could not find any baking soda for the life of me in my house. Instead of taking a trip to the supermarket, I decided to rummage around and try to find something to substitute it for. Now I’m still not sure what it was, but there was a plastic container at the back of the cabinet. It had a whole bunch of white powder in it. Tasting it was out of the question. I figured it had to be either baking soda or powder. I crossed my fingers and silently prayed that it would the former, and went for it.

Why I Stay Vegetarian

I’ve been a vegetarian for just over five years now.  Who knew that an experiment to demonstrate my will-power  to avoid college foods like fried chicken and cheeseburgers would have resulted in a complete lifestyle transformation.  After becoming a vegetarian, I decided to keep the progress going and tried to find the campus gym.  Well, as luck had it, I lived right up the street from the gym.  This was where my love of running and all things health and fitness-related began. Turkey for Beginners

How was your Thanksgiving? Lovely I hope. By now you’re probably sick of reading, talking and thinking about Thanksgiving and turkey but I just wanted to tell you about my Thanksgiving since it wasn’t exactly what I was anticipating. Let’s just say: If you’re 23, completely new to cooking turkey and don’t know you have to cook one until the day of Thanksgiving, well, miracles do happen. Cooking a turkey can be much easier than you think.

Leftover Turkey Recipes

If you still have turkey left over from the weekend, I’d like to recommend some recipes for dinner tonight (or tomorrow) to help you carve away at your stockpile of refrigerated poultry. Leftover cooked turkey is perfect soups, salads, sandwiches, wraps, you name it! So in other words, don’t let it go to waste.
