Get Ready for the Elite 8!

As expected, the delicious, citrus-y clementine proved victorious over brussels sprouts – 59% to 41%

Take a small breather! We’re taking a tiny break from March Madness right before the Elite 8 begins! The match-up between spring will take place on Monday, March 28, and the other seasonal match-ups will take place every day after that. Then spring will go up against fall, and summer will face off against winter on April 1. You’ll have the whole weekend to vote on the produce item you want to be in the championship. The two final items will battle on April 4, and a winner will be chosen on April 7!

Second Round March Madness: (2) Tomato vs. (6) Blueberry

The all-American vegetable, corn, beat the summer fruit favorite, watermelon 56% to 44%!

They’re both round, but that’s probably one of the only similarities you’ll find between these summer ingredients. Which circular produce item should win this match-up: tomato or blueberry?

Second Round March Madness: (1) Watermelon vs. (4) Corn

In an intense battle of green veggie vs. green veggie, spinach was victorious over asparagus – 57% to 43%!
