I recently came across a list by Men’s Health of the 20 Worst Foods in America and was appalled by the horrific amount of fat and calories in some of the foods we eat. As I was reading the list, I noticed that Outback Steakhouse came up once or twice. Upon reading the nutrition facts of some of their “specialty dishes,” I decided to NEVER go there again. It’s almost been a week since Easter, and my family still has leftovers stocked in the fridge. It’s getting hard to cram anything else in the refrigerator, so that means we better finish off that food fast! I was the unofficial photographer on Easter, so I snapped tons of pics of the delicious grub we had. Check out the recipes for the tasty dishes below! Most of the recipes we used are Greek, so you can find loads of them there!

As we Chew on That bloggers are rapidly learning, there is a food holiday for EVERY day of the year. There are also food months and food weeks. After doing some research, I found that the second week of April is National Egg Salad Week. Every Tuesday morning, I’m stuck driving into downtown Chicago, attending three back-to-back classes at Loyola University Chicago, hanging around and doing homework for about an hour and then going to a meeting. It’s a long day, to the say the least. Although I usually pack a light lunch to get me through that second class, during my break between classes and my meeting, I always make sure to head down the block to the wonderful little restaurant, the Soupbox.
