Food in the News: Gigantic Pumpkins, Scary Beers and Top-Selling Candy

Extra Large Pumpkin – In the spirit of fall, and of course Halloween, we wanted to talk about a awesome world record. Breaking the world record for biggest pumpkin is a squash grown by Wisconsin’s Chris Stevens. It weighs more than 1,800 pounds and will be on display at The New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) until Halloween. It’s a lot lighter in color, than you’d expect, and actually kind of ugly.
