A relatively new YouTube sensation called “Honey Badger Don’t Care” causes us to reassess all of our priorities when it comes to food (check it out here). Picky eaters and those with sensitive stomachs, beware – this ravaging mammal will do anything to save his panging stomach, whether it involves ransacking a buzzing beehive or chowing down on a poisonous cobra. UPDATE: Salmonella Outbreak


We gave you a rundown on salmonella last week, since millions of eggs have been tainted. Now we’re giving you an update, and we’re sorry that it isn’t a happy one. It’s actually really gross, and it will probably make me think twice about eating eggs for a while. Government reports made a grim discovery regarding the conditions at the two Iowa egg producers that are at the forefront of the egg recall. Filthy doesn’t even begin to describe what they found. Ribfest Naperville ’10!


Chicagoland’s biggest and most popular Ribfest is located in Naperville, IL.  It not only features lip-smacking ribs, but it also has carnival rides, big name musical acts, and a whole lot of crazy foods! I had never attended Ribfest before, so last weekend, I decided to give it a shot.

Junk Food Banned in Mexican Schools


Looks like our neighbors to the south are jumping ahead of us. At least in terms of junk food. According to several sources, the Mexican government is planning to ban junk food and fry-ups in primary and secondary schools in an attempt to fight one of the worst obesity problems in the world.

In America, we have similar problem. Now I know that First Lady Michelle Obama is leading an Anti-Obesity Campaign, however actions speak louder than words. And Mexico seems to be taking the action approach head-on. The United States should take note.
