When Chocolate Met Orange

I’ve tried more flavor combinations than I care to count. Most are good, some are horrible. One that I’ve been trying to get on board with lately has been the chocolate and orange combination. I used to find it disgusting as a kid, but now I can appreciate it. I’m certainly not ready to drop all other flavor combinations and run off with this one, but it’s really good. Lemons On a Pizza… Yep, You Read That Right

So, I’m not one to avoid trying new foods. I’ve tried most of the items on this list, and a few more that are just as weird. But some things just make me gag when I hear the name. The Top 10 Dishes and Recipes I’ll Never Make


There are just some dishes that I know I’ll never attempt making. For example, too much can go wrong while making lasagna. Just a couple of weeks ago, I tried making those delicious peanut butter cookies with the chocolate kisses in the center.

I could not find any baking soda for the life of me in my house. Instead of taking a trip to the supermarket, I decided to rummage around and try to find something to substitute it for. Now I’m still not sure what it was, but there was a plastic container at the back of the cabinet. It had a whole bunch of white powder in it. Tasting it was out of the question. I figured it had to be either baking soda or powder. I crossed my fingers and silently prayed that it would the former, and went for it.

Protein Shakes And Your Health


Several men that I know consume protein shakes almost daily to try to bulk up as quick as they can. These work-out-aholics drink the shakes to boost for their fitness performance, and I don’t think they have ever considered the fact that they could be bad for you. Protein shakes are consumed by a multitude of individuals every year, from teens to body builders, and they might not be as safe as we once thought.

A new Consumer Reports study  is showing that over-consuming some of these protein shakes can be dangerous and may cause health problems over time.
