Baseball Eats!

Major League Baseball kicks off tonight! Is anyone else getting pumped? I am! Every year, I tell myself that this could be the year that the Chicago Cubs break their curse and win a World Series. I’m actually going to be at the Cubs game on Saturday. Woo! It’s an afternoon game, so I’ll be chowing done on a Chicago-style hot dog, french fries and a couple beers.

The only bad thing is that it’s going to be pretty cold. But just as long as it doesn’t rain, I can make the best out of any situation. Plus, there are about 25 of us going. What does that mean? We could get an entire section of El for ourselves! That alone would be a fun sight to see. Keep reading for some yummy baseball eats!

Amusement Park Pig-out!

I spent this past weekend at Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio and was constantly being tempted by yummy amusement park treats.  I drooled whenever I smelled a funnel cake, sighed at the sight of salty giant pretzels, and gazed longingly at nachos with tubs of gooey cheese.  After managing to avoid eating a single snack (partly because I was trying to be healthy and partly because I can’t bear paying $8 for a hunk of fried dough), I went to Recipe4Living to see if there were any carnival food recipes I could try at home. New Pretzel M&Ms!
