Lately, I’ve found myself craving smoothies. Not just the typical strawberry-banana smoothie, but a smoothie with a tropical blend that will make me feel like I’m lying on a beach somewhere. Unfortunately, I’ve had trouble finding quenching smoothies that won’t ruin my diet. Some smoothies are so high in calories that I might as well have a meal at McDonalds. Everyone’s getting pumped to find out who the number 1 seeds are going to be in NCAA March Madness, but we’re even more pumped to find out which produce ingredients reigns supreme this month! In the spirit of March Madness, we’re hosting our very own battle, filled with the freshest ingredients from every season.
Each day, we’ll have a new match-up between two produce ingredients. We’re beginning with the two spring ingredients, strawberry and artichoke. Which ingredient would you rather eat or which do you enjoy cooking with most?
