A Mother’s Day Brunch Meal Plan

This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and I’m already getting excited about treating my mama to some waffles, pancakes and orange juice. Breakfast is her favorite meal, so if she decides to sleep in, I can bring her breakfast in bed! I know she’d love that! After all, my mom totally deserves it. She made my school lunches from 1st-8th grade, and she still makes most of my dinners. Hopefully, my meal will be good! Fingers crossed!

Happy Pancake Day!

I’m super excited because today is Pancake Day!  Also called Shrove Tuesday, this holiday is celebrated on the day before Ash Wednesday as a final feast before Lent.  Since you’re traditionally not supposed to eat eggs, sugar, fat, etc. during Lent, today is the day to use up all those tasty ingredients by making all types of scrumptious pancakes!  We’ll share some of our favorite pancake recipes after the jump! Free Short Stack at IHOP Tomorrow!

Get your pancake fix in tomorrow at IHOP! To celebrate National Pancake Day, the breakfast chain is offering a free short stack of pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at participating stores all over the country. IHOP is also asking its customers to consider donating to its favorite charity, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. More after the jump!
