Baseball Eats!

Major League Baseball kicks off tonight! Is anyone else getting pumped? I am! Every year, I tell myself that this could be the year that the Chicago Cubs break their curse and win a World Series. I’m actually going to be at the Cubs game on Saturday. Woo! It’s an afternoon game, so I’ll be chowing done on a Chicago-style hot dog, french fries and a couple beers.

The only bad thing is that it’s going to be pretty cold. But just as long as it doesn’t rain, I can make the best out of any situation. Plus, there are about 25 of us going. What does that mean? We could get an entire section of El for ourselves! That alone would be a fun sight to see. Keep reading for some yummy baseball eats!

I was already pretty hungry, and there was no way I could deal with not eating until we returned home late that night. So I loaded a cheeseburger with ketchup, and I ate it as fast as possible. After the initial shock wore off, I realized that the burger was pretty darn delicious. And the rest is history…

I Love Chicago, And All Of Its Food!

Last night, my boyfriend came over to my house around 9 p.m. We watched the latest episode of our favorite show—True Blood—and then we decided to do something a little spontaneous. We went for a cruise all over downtown Chicago.

Since I went to college at Loyola University Chicago, I’m very familiar with the city. He drove, and I navigated. The only thing that we were missing was a delicious Chicago Style Hot Dog. I think Chicago has some of the best food in America. Check out some of the best Chicago recipes after jump.

Is It Safe to Eat at Your Sports Stadium?

I was looking around online the other day and found that ESPN had compiled a pretty interesting list.  They actually looked at the health inspection reports from various sports stadiums around the country and saw how many food vendors were in violation of health codes.  Check out the results; you may be surprised!
