Granola bars are a go to snack in my house. Boxes of every flavor they offer literally line my countertops. They are so easy to just throw in your bag and save for that 2:00 post-lunch/pre-dinner snack. I also eat one in the morning as a quick breakfast snack. My problem? If I’m looking for a light, but filling snack during the afternoon, chances are I’m going to reach for a granola bar. Most of the time, it’s either going to be the delicious Kashi TLC Chewy Granola Bars – Cherry Dark Chocolate or Quaker Oats Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars. I stash them at my office desk, in my car and sometimes, in my purse. Hey, you never know when hunger is going to strike!
Despite the fact that I eat granola bars all the time, I’ve never tried to make my own. The reason why I bring this up is because making your own granola seems to be a rising trend among food bloggers. Keep reading for more info!
