It’s summertime and everyone I know is getting married! I’ve gotten completely swept up in all of the wedding madness, and I started wondering what traditional wedding recipes existed in the world. Besides cake, of course, do different cultures have different foods at their weddings?

Can you skip the salad and nutritious food for just one day? We think you can. It’s National Junk Food Day. Of course, we’re not advocating that you should eat candy for dinner every day, but once a year won’t do too much harm. Even though I really dislike the term junk food, it’s ridiculous to claim that most of the foods labeled as such are healthy. Usually, they are high in calories or fat, with little nutritional value. The kicker is that these foods are almost always DELICIOUS! Check out the best junk food recipes after the jump!

When my sister Angie is in a good mood, we all feel it. She’ll find a way to make me, and the rest of my family, just as happy as she is. This weekend, her good mood produced a delicious dessert that we all shared. On Thursday, my sister and I went through Recipe4Living to find an easy dessert recipe that contained ingredients we already had. After looking through so many delicious recipes, we decided on Recipe4Living’s Peanut Butter Bars with Chocolate Ganache.

Now that the Super Bowl is over, crunchy and salty are out for me. This Valentine’s Day, I’m craving something really sweet. I want creamy and crumbly and sugary! This year, I won’t be spending tons of money at a fancy restaurant. I’m staying in with my boyfriend and cooking up a romantic meal that I know we’ll both enjoy.
