5 Uses for Cookie Dough

We love getting creative with our cookies, so why not get creative with the dough? A plain sugar cookie dough can be used to make a variety of different foods.

Tart Crust: Cut dough into 3 inch circles. Press into a muffin tin and poke holes in it with a fork. Then bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Place whatever fillings you like inside for the tarts.

Pizza Crust: This is one of our favorite ways to use cookie dough. Skip the tomato sauce though. Sugar cookie makes a great base for fruit pizza.

Cookie Dough Cupcakes: These cakes have cookie dough in the middle and cookie dough frosting! Get the recipe at Cupcake Project.

Cookie Dough Milkshake: Try this recipe from Mrs. Field’s. Prepare cookie dough and roll it out on a cookie sheet until you have a 1/2 inch thickness. Use a knife of pizza cutter to score it into 1/2 inch squares. Freeze at least 1 hour, or until firm. Prepare your milkshake using 2 cups ice cream, 1/3 cup milk, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Mix on high in a blender, then add 1/2 cup frozen cookie dough chunks and mix on low speed for 10 seconds.

Just eat it! Sure eating raw dough is frowned upon, but it’s soooo good.
