How to make Homemade Peanut Butter

This healthy recipe only takes 5 minutes to make, and homemade peanut butter is a lot healthier than anything you’ll find on store shelves.

This particular recipe has no added salt or oil, so the only thing you’ll be tasting is pure peanut butter!

Ingredients:

16 ounce bag of peanuts (pick your favorite variety of peanuts or mixed nuts)

Directions:

-Add peanuts to a food processor.

-It will take about 5 minutes for the peanuts to reach the creamy consistency of peanut butter. The natural oils from the peanuts will do all the work.

-My personal favorite part about making my own peanut butter is that I can add any additional flavors at this point. For fall, try adding cinnamon or pumpkin flavor!

Storage: Store your peanut butter in an airtight jar. It will keep in the fridge for weeks. As it sits in the fridge it will thicken up. If you don’t like your peanut butter super thick, leave it at room temperature, where it will keep for a week.
