March Madness: Mad About Produce!

Okay, so I know March Madness is in full swing now that the brackets have been released, but what about the other things about March that make it so amazing? It may be global warming, but I won’t complain about the temperatures nearing 70 in Chicago in the month of March! I am so excited about seasonal veggies and fruits coming in, and I’ve got the recipes you will love that utilize March’s best produce. Read on for the recipes…after the jump!

As much as we love all the pub grub we know you’ll be enjoying out at the bars during March Madness, we also love all the produce coming in this March and April. Celebrate the changing seasons with some of our favorite recipes utilizing  March produce!

Artichokes

Cabbage

St. Patrick’s Day is fast upon us, and the timing is ideal for a corned beef and cabbage sandwich! Cabbage is in season and can be used in everything from soups and sides to sandwiches and crockpot favorites.
