Posted by Leslie at November 4th, 2011, 2:09 amMy Mom was very creative in the kitchen. With 6 kids she found a lot of use for leftovers. She made the greatest croquets you every ate. Yes there were times we named them the mystery meat dinner but when any of us think of them our tummys actually rumble as if to say OK I’m Ready, and we just smile.
Posted by Terry Sabon at November 28th, 2011, 1:17 pmcorn on cobb, macaroni & cheese, Spaghetio’s were my kid’s favorites. I loved peanut butter & jelly on Wonder white bread. RAW peas, string beans, broccoli, any fruit & most vegetables that were were cooked. My Lithuanian GRANDMA worried that I was so slender(NOT NOW)so she’d make potato pancakes, crepe’suzettes’,which I LOVED. Miss you Grandma & sad that I didn’t get that ‘cooking gene’ :)
