Here are some general tips for baking a cheesecake:

1. Invest in a good springform pan. Cheesecake crust often sticks to the pan, and if you use a nonstick pan with a removable side, the presentation of your cheesecake will be easier. Wait until your cheesecake cools completely (1 hour or more) before removing it from the pan.

2. Avoid over-mixing the ingredients of the cheesecake. If too much air gets into the batter, it will cause cracks at the top of the cake. Be sure to cool your cake in a cool place with no drafts.
