Throw a Royal Wedding Cocktail Party!

It’s almost the big day for Kate and Wills, and everybody is getting excited! I know a few people who are taking the day off of work or having a 4am tea party/viewing party. Plus, everybody in the UK gets the entire day off of work to celebrate! If you’re as excited about the royal wedding as the rest of the world, throw a little get-together with friends- we’ll provide the recipes!
Let these high-class cocktails keep your energy up as you watch the wedding! If you’re in the US, you’ll going to have to stay awake all night!
THE GINGER ROYALE
1.5 oz. The King’s Ginger Liqueur
4 oz. Champagne
Pour a generous measure of The King’s Ginger into a flute. Add chilled champagne to taste.
THE CHUNNEL OF LOVE

1.25 oz. King’s Ginger
1 oz Lillet Blanc
0.5 oz. Meyer lemon juice
0.5 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
small branch of thyme
splash of seltzer
Shake ingredients with ice and strain. Garnish with Meyer lemon peel twist.
THE PRINCE & THE PISCO

1.5 oz. campo de encanto pisco
1 oz King’s Ginger
0.25 oz. velvet falernum
3 dashes of peychaud’s bitters
0.75 oz. lemon
Shake and serve with a lemon twist
THE WILLIAM
1.5 oz. Barceló Imperial Rum
0.75 oz. Sweet Vermouth
0.75 oz. Brut Champagne
2 dashes of The Bitter Truth Aromatic Bitters
Stir and serve in a martini glass topped up with champagne. Garnish with a delightful Maraschino cherry.
THE WEDDING MARCH
1.5 oz. ml Barcelo Gran Anejo Rum
0.75 oz. fresh lime juice
1 egg white
1 tsp. sugar
2 dashes The Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas Bitters
Shake in an iced cocktail shaker and strain.
THE DRAMBUIE ENGLISH ROSE COCKTAIL
1 sugar cube
3 drops Orange Bitters
1 oz. DRAMBUIE
4 oz. chilled Blanc de Noirs Champagne
splash Campari
3 drops Rosewater
In a champagne flute, add sugar, orange bitters, and Drambuie. Slowly top with champagne, Campari, and rosewater. Garnish with a thinly-sliced strawberry, fanned and floated on top.
