How to Make Balsamic Vinaigrette

My salads always require dressing, but that’s not because they lack flavor. It’s just that my taste buds love the sweet, tangy flavor of balsamic vinaigrette. My dressing comes in a little bottle that I buy in my grocery. I’ve never tried making my own, and I’m really not sure why.

It would save me money, and it won’t take too much time. Maybe I’ve just been a little nervous of making my own dressing. Well now I don’t have to be intimidated. Keep reading for my step-by-step guide on how to make balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Here’s what you need:

* 4 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
* 2 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
* 1/4 tsp. dried basil
* 1/4 tsp. Dijon mustard
* 1/4 tsp. honey

Here’s what you do:

1. Stir rapidly with a fork until combined.

2. Store in a lidded container.
