March Madness Snacks
March Madness has officially begun, so let the betting begin! My prediction is that Pittsburgh is going to win the whole thing. If I do end up winning my pool, I’ll get $75. Not too shabby. The other great thing about March Madness is the food! Lots of game-time munchies, snack mixes and finger foods.
Once the big games are on (Elite 8 and on), we’re probably going to host a small party at our home. Nothing too fancy, but lots of appetizers. Keep reading for some of my top choices!
Crispy Snack Mix – Enjoy this palatable snack mix made easy with a crock pot!
Banana Snack Bars - These yummy snack bars are a great solution to over-ripe bananas.
Potato Skin Snacks – These French fry-like snacks are baked instead of fried for a healthier treat. Great for a snack or appetizer.
Gorgonzola Cheese Snacks - Because of the blue cheese, this is a more mature snack or appetizer.
Spinach Dip - A twist on the classic spinach dip.
Fried Bread – These sweet pieces of dough are a delicious treat.
Crazy Candy – You wont’ be able to stop eating this sweet, salty, crunchy and chewy snack.
Rollo Pretzels – This snack is a crunchy, salty, caramel, pecan bite-sized nugget.
Mexicali Popcorn – Taco seasoning and grated cheese give a new twist to the ever-snackable popcorn.
