National Peanut Butter Day!
I’m obsessed with chunky peanut butter and proud of it! Sorry all you creamy lovers out there, but when I want to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I want to taste some of the crunchy nuts as I’m chowing down.
I usually eat peanut butter a couple times every week, and though it may not be really, really healthy for you, it could be a lot worse. To celebrate this fun food holiday, I found a ton of different ways you can eat peanut butter! Check them out after the jump!
Peanut Butter Brownies - The classic combination of chocolate and peanuts is even better with a creamy, peanut butter topping.
Peanut Butter Crisps – This is a great recipe for the kids to help with!
Peanut Butter and Jelly Roll-ups – An easy way to cut down carbs and a fun way to serve the good ole’ PB&J.
Peanut Butter-Coconut-Raisin Granola Bars – These granola bars make a sweet snack.
Peanut Butter and Gingersnap Ice Cream – This dessert is one indulgent dish. Peanut butter, honey, and gingersnaps combine together to make a wonderful sundae!
Peanut Butter Cake – This rich, peanut butter cake is super tasty. The kids will love it!
Peanut Butter Soup - What a way to cure that peanut butter craving.
Peanut Butter Pizza – For an after-school get-together, try this cookie pizza for hungry kids.
Peanut Butter Cinnamon Toast – This is really easy and fast and children will love it. With no serving amounts, make as much as you like!
Peanut Butter Noodles – Make this Asian-inspired dish in only 20 minutes.
What’s your favorite peanut butter dish? Is it a dessert or something completely different?
