Pop Up a Tasty Snack for National Popcorn Day!

Today is National Popcorn Day and I couldn’t be happier!  Popcorn is a great (and sometimes healthy) snack that you can have pretty much anytime and anyplace!  Leave it plain, spice it up, cover it with caramel, or mix in some nuts and pretzels!  There are so many ways you can make popcorn and I’m going to tell you about some of my favorites…right after the jump!

Easy Popcorn Balls:
I always had fun making popcorn balls for Halloween when I was a kid.  I haven’t had them in years, but I might have to start again!  This recipe includes marshmallows to make the popcorn balls extra sweet!

Spicy Popcorn on the Grill: I bet you never thought you could grill popcorn!  This recipe provides a really simple and fun way to pop popcorn, and with the addition of yummy spices, you get a whole different flavor than you’re used to.

Pina Colada Popcorn Crunch: This is sweet popcorn at its finest.  Coconut cream pudding, dried pineapple, rum extract, and flaked coconut make this snack truly tropical!

Pizza Popcorn: Add pizza seasoning and Parmesan cheese to your typical Popcorn and you get pizza popcorn!  The kids will love this one.

Swirled Popcorn Mix: The ultimate combination of sweet and salty, this recipe mixes popcorn with cranberries, almonds, chocolate chips, and corn cereal squares to make a yummy dessert mix!

Easy Fruity Popcorn Snack: A crispy, crunchy, fruity snack flavored with your favorite flavor of Jell-o powder!  Your kids will love making the popcorn pink!

Caramel Popcorn: A true classic, and one of my favorites around Christmastime.  I always add some candied nuts to make it just a bit more special.
