Valentine’s Day Round-Up: Blog Posts that Will Help You Prep for the Big Day
Yes, I know, it’s still a month away, but if you want to go big this Valentine’s Day, you need to start early! I have been perusing some blogs lately and found some fantastic posts that will help you whip up some unforgettable dishes for your loved one (or your single friends!) on V-Day. Check them out after the jump!
Here are 5 blog posts that I will definitely be referring to as I start to get ready for Valentine’s day:
-I Am Baker shared step-by-step instructions on how to frost a Valentine’s Day cake. The results? The 3 prettiest and pinkest cakes you’ve ever seen! You MUST check out her gorgeous photos.
-Bakers Royale made some Raspberry Mousse Cakes that will make you drool. They are the perfect individual desserts for you and your partner, or a whole party full of people!
-Bella So Savvy shared her recipe for kid-friendly Valentine Rice Krispie Treats. You can turn them into rice krispie “suckers” or “love bugs!” Your kids will love decorating them!
-Following in Her Shoes baked some fun little cake pops covered in sprinkles (her adorable 3-year-old daughter insisted that sprinkles were absolutely necessary!) How cute!
-The Party Dress had a great post on how to update your boring old Valentine’s Day recipes. For example, sugar cookies are out. Sugar cookie pops are in! Chocolate cake is out. Chocolate cherry cake is in!
Be sure to check out all these posts and get some inspiration from these awesome chefs/bakers/bloggers!
