Your Entire Thanksgiving Feast…in Cake Form

turkey-cake

If you don’t feel like preparing a turkey, a pie, stuffing, mashed potatoes, casseroles, cranberry sauce, etc. this Thanksgiving, why not just cram them all together into one dish?  Chow has a recipe for a bizarre Thanksgiving Turkey Cake that combines all your favorite holiday dishes into one!

This crazy cake has it all: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and even a toasted mini marshmallow topping! It serves 8 to 10 people, so it’s perfect for a small Thanksgiving get-together!

Now, will anyone ACTUALLY make this for their Thanksgiving dinner?  I think not.  But it’s a cool idea and it’s kind of pretty, too- looks a bit like a carrot cake… Whoever invented the turducken is probably kicking themselves for not coming up with this one, too!

Personally, I’d love to try a bite.  But only ONE bite.  Any more than that and I think I’d be sick!  Check out the full recipe plus step-by-step instructions on how to make it here.

You know. I just bought some fancy mustard that’s normally $5 for a small jar. they had a coupon and some sale so I picked it up. They had a recipe in there for a mustard dessert. It was some chocolate cake with mustard filling. Hmmm. I like mustard and I like chocolate. Not sure I would like them combined. This cake reminds me of that!
