National Sandwich Day

I didn’t always eat sandwiches. When I was a vegetarian, the only sandwich you’d find me munching on was a grilled cheese. I mean what else can you really put on a sandwich if you don’t eat meat. Sure, veggies and cheese might be tasty at first, but you’ll get sick of them pretty quickly. Now that I eat meat, I have a variety of sandwiches to choose from. My favorite is salami, Swiss cheese and honey mustard on wheat toast. Totally delicious. Check out 8 of the most interesting sandwich recipes after the jump! Happy National Sandwich day!

Whether you like turkey, ham or beef, try one of these yummy sandwiches. I love trying weird new combinations. Today for lunch I have Laughing Cow cheese, chopped yellow bell peppers and cranberries topped on a whole wheat bagel thin. I hope it’s tasty!
