Ghoulishly Good Halloween Recipe Contest Winner

Her Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookies with Honey Glace Icing recipe is the winner of the Recipe4Living Ghoulishly Good Halloween Recipe Contest. Here is the recipe:
Time needed 45 minutes preparation + 10-15 minutes cooking
* 3 C. all-purpose flour
* 1 C. granulated sugar
* 1-1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
* 1 C. butter (salted)
* 1 lg.egg
* 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
* 4 C. powdered sugar
* 5 Tbs. milk
* 5 Tbs. light corn syrup
* 2 Tbs. honey
Cookies: Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy with hand mixer or in stand mixer. Mix in egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour and pumpkin pie spice. Then slowly add flour mixture to batter. Roll dough into a 1/4-inch thick sheet, then refrigerate for 20 minutes. Cut shapes, transfer to cookie sheets and bake for 10-15 minutes at 350°F. Cookies are done when edges begin to turn golden-brown. Transfer cookies to racks to cool.
Icing: In a large bowl, mix together powdered sugar, milk, light corn syrup and honey until smooth. Dye icing to the desired colors and spread on cookies with the back of a spoon. For piping icing, add powdered sugar until icing is a thick paste.
