Get Ready For Fall With Some New Recipes

I absolutely love the transition from summer to fall, watching the leaves change and enjoying the days as they get crisper and cooler. My meals start to switch from barbecue to more wholesome and comforting dishes, filled with hearty vegetables like zucchini and pumpkin.

I always get a little sentimental when the seasons change too, and I try to continue to buy summer fruits until the point of no return. That’s when I finally look at those strawberries and have to tell myself…there is no way that you are eating that! So as the summer begins to wane, and fall rises, here are some amazing fall recipes that I enjoy and I think you will too!

Autumn Soup - This is a soup that I make when the fall weather sets in. It is a healthy, hearty and very tasty soup. It won first place in a local newspaper contest. You’ll enjoy it.

Sweet Potato Fries -  This is a favorite of anyone who loves sweet potatoes.

Spiced Pear Bread -  The pear adds a delicious moistness to this spiced bread. This is great for the fall and it’s even better the next day!

The Best Butternut Squash Pie -  This delicious butternut squash pie takes advantage of fall produce to make a rich and velvety pie! Serve as a side dish or even for dessert!

Sweet Dumpling Pumpkin and Quinoa Mash -  I bought this squash and couldn’t figure out what to do with it. This sweet pumpkin quinoa mash came out tasting just like candy with a healthy twist!

Pumpkin Stew -  After our kids carve their Halloween pumpkins, I use the discarded pieces in this savory stew. My family eagerly looks forward to it every year.

Autumn Pork Chops
-  A little bit of cheese and some fresh herbs put the finishing touches on these chops.
