Happy August, everyone!  It’s time to start celebrating some fun food holidays now that we’ve entered a new month.  Let’s start by celebrating our favorite fruit, because August is National Peach Month!  Read more to check out my absolute favorite peach recipes!

Let’s start with my 2 favorite peach dessert recipes.  One has a bit of a Mexican flair and the other is an old favorite.

1. Peach Enchiladas: Take some tortillas, stuff them with peach pie filling, bake them with a deliciously sugary sauce on top, and you’ve got yourself a perfect dessert in 30 minutes or less.

2. Peach and Blueberry Crisp: I love any crisp, cobbler, or crumble, so this recipe is right up my alley.  I love the combination of the peach and blueberry flavors.  Serve this with vanilla ice cream and you’ll be in heaven!

Now, who ever said peaches were just for dessert?  These 2 recipes incorporate peaches into your main course for a sweet supper.

3. Peachy Pork: I love this recipe because it’s so easy.  This 4 ingredient pork dish combines sweet and spicy flavors and it cooks up in less than a half hour!

4. Peach Honey-Mustard Chicken: This unique dish coats your chicken with a flavorful sauce that you won’t soon forget.  And because you cook it all in one pan, clean up is a cinch.

Finally, I can’t ignore my favorite fruity drink.  I love a good fruity cocktail; I am your Cocktail Hour ambassador after all!

5. Peach Daiquiri: Rum, brandy, peach schnapps, and a few other scrumptious ingredients go into this fun summer drink.  This fruity frozen cocktail is ideal for poolside sipping.

Don’t forget to load up on peaches while they’re still in season- missing out on this fun fruit would be the pits!  (bad joke, I know)
