The Best Pizza Dip Ever!

I’m a major sucker for pizza. It’s cheesy and delicious, so when I heard that my aunt had created a pizza dip, I couldn’t wait for a taste. After work one day, my aunt was having a family party, so I stopped by. My other aunt (the one who makes the pizza dip) wasn’t there yet. But I knew that when she came, she’d have that tasty pizza dip with her. Usually after work, I eat pretty soon after I get home. Needless to say, I was getting pretty hungry at my aunt’s house. After 20 minutes, the doorbell rang and in walked my aunt carrying a massive tray of pizza dip!

I’d like to say that I was ladylike, and waited until the kids at least got to try it, but of course that didn’t happen. I swarmed the pizza dip and grabbed one of the crispiest crackers I could find. But when I looked at the dip, I was a little unsure. I didn’t want to be the person who ruined its beautiful display.

I took a step back, and waited until my little cousins got a chance to eat the dip. After they went through it fairly quickly, I dug in as well. Boy was it delicious! I didn’t realize that there was cream cheese at the bottom after the first scoop, but for my second I managed to get a bit of cream cheese, pizza sauce, cheese and a bunch of pepper pieces. The pizza dip was creamy, and had so much flavor because of the peppers. I also liked the idea of having sauce in there too. It was really was just like a pizza!

Over 30 people in my extended family came to my aunt’s that night and the pizza dip was gone in about an hour. My aunt also remembered to bring extra crackers to put around the dip. Curious on how this amazing dip is made. It’s really very simple.

Pizza Dip

2 pkgs. cream cheese
2 Tbs. yogurt
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
Yellow peppers
Green peppers
Red peppers

In a mixer, combine 2 packages cream cheese with 2 tablespoons yogurt until smooth and creamy. Spread in a circular motion on a pizza pan. Top with pizza sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Top with yellow, green, red peppers, olives and whatever else you like. Add crackers for the scooping.
