Three Buck Bites!

Looking for a value menu that doesn’t consist of the fast food drive thru? You’re in luck! Citysearch just released a new Website called Three Buck Bites where you can find all sorts of cheap (but quality) eats sorted by city or restaurant. Every delicacy featured on this site cost $3.99 or less.  And Chew on That is a part of it! We’ll  be submitting our own Three Buck Bites from the city and suburbs of Chicago. You can see our photo on their Dictators Page as well as the Three Buck Bites Dictator badge in our lefthand sidebar.

See our first “bite” after the jump!

I kicked off myThree Buck Bite Dictator career with a quality bite from Kona Grill of Lincolnshire.

On any weekday from 3-7 PM, you can grab one of these awesome sushi rolls for only $3! They call it their “Happy Hour” special and they have menu items for half or even a third of the price. You do have to sit in the bar or lounge area, but with over 5 $3-sushi rolls to choose from, this deal was a steal! We chose the Atlantic roll (left) that had baked salmon with cucumber, tempura flakes and eel sauce along with the Crab Special roll mixed with cucumebr and a motiyaki sauce. Both were surprisingly delicious (especially considering I’m usually a raw salmon sushi advocate).

Check out the Three Buck Bites site for more cheap eats in your area!
