Chicago Restaurant Week!
I’m proud to announce that this year Chicago is having it’s very own Restaurant Week! Finally! In fact, we actually had/have TWO restaurant weeks but it seems that one might just be more “official”.
What’s a restaurant week, you ask? For many years, New York City has had a week dedicated to fine dining at lower prices. Patrons are able to enjoy multiple course meals from a variety of restaurants, from the fancy to the famed, all at one set price across town.
And now we get to join the fun! The week is from February 22-29 and the prices are as follows: $21.95 for a three course lunch, and $31.95 for a three-course dinner. So far we have 34 restaurants participating, and most of these restaurants would ordinarily ring up to much more than that, so that’s practically a steal!
So, being the Chicago food blog that we are, we intend to report on the happenings of this exciting week to come, and eat ourselves some prix-fixed meals.
If you’re in Chicago and would like to do the same, here is the lineup!
